Do you have the luxury of taking some time off from your usual daily schedule? Are you certain you know a friend or loved one who will be happy to drive you to and from your dental visit? If so, go ahead and choose oral sedation for deep tranquility. Or, if you really must get back to your daily plans and don’t have a moment to spare, we suggest nitrous oxide, which wears off so quickly, you can drive yourself to and from our practice.
#2: By Your Relaxation Preferences
Are you suffering from extremely mild jitters, so you want a little something that will help take the edge off of your nervousness? If so, we suggest you consider nitrous oxide. This sedation dentistry option is gentle and will help you feel relaxed. Or, are you feeling extreme anxiety that commonly prevents you from scheduling dental visits with us? If so, you may wish to choose oral sedation, which offers a much deeper state of relaxation.
