Restorative Dentistry Questions

questionmarksfacequestionmarksfaceHow much do you know about restorative dentistry and what it does for your smile? If you aren’t fully informed about its advantages, you may have some questions brewing that you would like to have answered. Keep in mind, a wonderful time to bring up concerns or simply ask about your oral health is during any one of your visits to see us. However, to address the inquiries currently weighing on your mind, we are more than happy to provide responses to questions we commonly receive about restorative care.

Questions About Restorative Dentistry

Question: Why might I need restorative dentistry? What is the main goal of this area of dentistry?

Answer: Restorative care – as the name implies – allows us to restore your oral health. This means that we will repair tissue damage, clear infections, replace teeth, and make any other improvements necessary to return you to the state of oral health you enjoyed prior to damage.

Question: What types of restorative dentistry treatments do you offer?

Answer: We offer a full spectrum of restorative treatments to make sure we can address any potential need that may arise. These services include dental fillings, dental crowns, root canal treatment, full dentures, partial dentures, and deep cleanings.

Question: Are there consequences to putting off a restorative dentistry treatment that you suggest?

Answer: Yes, if we recommend a restorative treatment to repair your oral health, you should act swiftly. Once tissue is damaged, an infection occurs, or an oral disease like tooth decay or gum disease begins, the problems will continue to worsen. The sooner you treat the issue, the greater your chance of restored oral health without complications.
